谈FUZZ season1

每个狂热人士应该都有过上述经历。

HUDSON，是个人最酷爱的FUZZ品牌之一。 这块SOUL BOMB采用了NOS CV7355, OC76, PHILIPS OC70。
左侧是传统TREBLE BOOSTER，要比ANALOGMAN BEANO还要震撼，无比强大的低频，而且很扎实紧凑，中高频非常FAT。 右侧是MK 1.5 ，声音跟传统的MK 2略微类似，要比SUNFACE NKT 275声音更OPEN、清晰。

下面是个人在邮件中问起HUDSON的一些属性，他谈了谈他的个人经验。

OC75 Classic MkII Tone Bender - Raw and aggressive with good top end bite
CV5416,OC84- More Range on the attack control than the OC75 with great ability to clean up from the guitars volume.
OC72 - Sits somewhere in-between the OC75 and CV5416
AC125 - OC75 but more aggressive
In the Mr Soul I've found the first transistor (a CV7355 in yours) doesn't affect the tone so I select a stable, low noise Ge transistor for that position. The 2nd transistor (a OC76 in yours) can be classified as follows
OC75 - Warm with a good balanced tone
OC76 - very similar to the OC75 but with a little less top end and slightly tighter sounding.
AC125 - Again very similar to the OC75 but with a tad more gain and bite.

我觉得现在多数音箱已经不能令这种旧线路的FUZZ发挥以前经典的作用了，特别是Fuzzface这样的。玩这类FUZZ应该找70~80年代的音箱或者线路复古款的。
想用其他音箱出味，用数字模拟FUZZ的效果也许更好。
