gibson es系列年代久远，源远流长相厮守望相助力车载导航天打飞机......很多型号已经停产，貌似出了不少，欢迎各位推荐介绍，简单要求几点，满足最好：

我承认国外的网站已经很全面了，接下来，我准备慢慢复制过来........

Gibson ES-5 Electric Archtop Guitar Description: Gibson ES-5 Electric Archtop and ES5 Switchmaster guitars
Available: 1949 to 1962 (also recently reissued by Gibson)
Case: Brown hardshell case with a pink lining was the top-end Gibson case. The mid-line case was a brown hardshell with a green or brown lining. 1961/1962 models may have a black hardshell case with a yellow lining.
Collectibility Rating: 1955 to 1960 models are the more desirable than 1949-1954 model because of the volume/tone control layout and the switch. 1957 to 1960 models are better still because of the humbucking pickups (though I still like the sounds of the black P-90 pickups used on pre-1957 models). 1961/1962 models with the sharp cutaway are less desirable because of the cutaway, neck size, and more cherry-red sunburst.

General Comments: Second fanciest archtop by Gibson, just behind the L-5c. Made as a fully electric version of the L-5c. A maple plywood top was used (instead of solid spruce) to limit feedback. Unfortunately the plywood construction limits collectibility to some degree. A low production guitar. For example, have seen a late 1954 ES-5 switchmater. Body/neck made in 1954 (with a white A17xxx serial number tag) with 3-ply body binding, but with a switch and six knobs (and ES-175 gold tailpiece). Guitar was probably finished in 1955, nearly a year after the body and neck were made.

1949 Gibson ES-5 guitar introduction specs: 17" wide, rounded single cutaway, three P-90 pickups, three volume controls, one master tone control on cutaway bout, trapeze tailpiece with pointed ends and three raised parallelagrams (like an gold ES-175 tailpiece), laminiated beveled-edge pickguard, bound F-holes (a few early model with unbound F-holes), pointed-end fingerboard with 5-ply binding, large block fingerboard inlays, single bound peghead, crown peghead inlay, gold plated parts, brown sunburst or natural finish. Three piece neck with two pieces of maple and a thin layer of dark wood between them. 1955 Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster specs: Six volume/tone knobs (separate volume and tone for each pickup), 4-way slotted switch on cutaway bout with a Telecaster style switch tip (labeled "1,2,3,ALL"), gold tune-o-matic ABR bridge (with no saddle retaining wire) on a rosewood base. Note 4 non-switchmaster ES-5 models were shipped as late as 1956. 1956 Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster guitar specs: 5 ply top and back binding, tubular tailpiece with double-loop design. 1957 Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster guitar specs: Humbucking pickups replace P-90 pickups. 1961 Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster guitar specs: pointed sharp cutaway, cherry red sunburst finish standard. Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster guitar discontinued 1962. Reissued in the late 1990s.

Left: 1952 Gibson ES-5.

Notice the slight difference in the sunburst, where the 1955 model has a bit of red in the finish,
and the 1952 is a pure 2-tone yellow to dark brown sunburst. The 1955 model is of course a
switch master, but with 3-ply body binding (5-ply was used in 1956).

雷兄。你不是已经有了taylor 614箱琴了吗。马丁箱琴重复了。还是爵士琴吧。到时候我可以给你参考参考。有时候美国东西还便宜一些呢。

我最后悔的就是那把黄色的CS的Les Paul带一对P90的给卖掉了。后来再也找不到同样的了。

老高。Epiphone Emperor我以前有一把，不过是早期韩国产的。不知道这个日本产的拾音器怎么样。

我的是双拾音器，具体型号我不懂，我仔细对比过图片，造型跟L5基本一样，让我惊喜的是，面板是单板，背侧貌似也是，有待考证，年代久远，资料不好查。EPI的莲花琴头比L5更大更有味道，黄化红的渐变色，包边有些裂痕，时间长了，颜色发黄，很VINTAGE。昨天在家插上MICRO CUBE 弹了弹，爱不释手，很有木头味道。琴颈状态很好，手感也不错，不过3.4弦11品打品比较严重，还没调试，还有就是档位器，琴桥拾音器那档挺不住，总向中间的那档跳，不过用的少，暂时不打算搞.......

哪个现场？是不是本木色，两个黑色P90拾音器的那把？
应该不是L4，貌似L5，不过也可能是BYRDLAND，比L5薄一些，多了几品........

如果是单板的就太神奇了。连Gibson的ES335什么都是laminate的枫木。空心琴用单板的非常少。大概主要是不太好做。11弦打品大概还是高把位的品丝的问题，这个只能加高琴桥，并通过调琴颈（往后弯）来解决了。档位器换一个就是了。用Swtichcraft的，大概20多个美元一个。我要是在南京就顺手给你换一个了。我现在改装琴越来越多，觉得自己焊点连接的那个锡坨子做得越来越象Gibson Custom Shop了。

顺便把我的韩产第一代Emperor发来看一下。虽然不是Gibson，也是空心的啊。那把琴手感不错，就是拾音器太差，没有感觉。也可能我就是不太喜欢空心的木头感的声音。自己还有一个Gibson Custom Robert Howard Fusion III，也是半空心的，我竟然拿那个来弹金属，大家都说是糟蹋东西。。。

的确，估计实木的拱面是刨出来的，那种层压的应该是机器压出来的，所以实木的费时费力费料，价格就不菲。GIBSON的也只有L4.L5这种档次才舍得用实木。这把琴面板木头的纹理还比较平均，当然没有L5看起来那么华丽。所长什么时候回南京啊，老婆孩子的，估计现在回来少了吧，回来的话，记得联系，小聚一下。
其实空心琴，我更喜欢外形，音色嘛，弹爵士不错，要是BLUES还是应该有把FENDER的，看来年的收成了，不行用AK1974换把CS FENDER 60S的，最好RELIC的。

对，Blues 还是要有把fender ，所长很同意。其实Les Paul搞blues也很不错的。你说的CS 60我正好有一把。一直没有怎么弹。90年代老款，Matched Head，已经停产，声音相当好，就是琴颈不好调。现在的Custom Shop的60复刻是什么样的？不是那种有意做旧的吧。我一直觉得做旧的很二五。

这把是停产的94年的版本，和现在大概不一样。现在的没有Matched Head了。我原来也没有注意到。还是GC的朋友提醒的。

这个琴的输出不大，但是听了清音之后你才理解为什么不需要大输出。因为真的是很好听。就是有点重。不过木头不沉，出不来好的低音。

不是350，我仔细对比过，最主要的看指板和拾音器那段衔接，老客那款是弧线的，350是平直的。

他在孟加拉国国家服务音乐会演奏...？看起来像一个Byrdland,可是颈部配备了350贝壳嵌体,可这怎么解释呢?

我说的就是兄弟截图这把......再次仔细观摩了一下，是L5应该。
不过要是关注BYRDLAND的话，可以看看DINNA KRALL的早期演唱会，他的吉他手就用的这琴。
