The TS808 offers a vintage look and sound.Many people are wondering if it needs mods since it's the Holy Grail TS808 with the new JRC chip installed.Sure it does!If you look at the board, it's the exact same as the TS9 and has the same "faults," if you will.Areas that need improvement are limited bass response that cuts so much that it appears as a huge midrange hump in the sound.Limited Gain range...doesn't get clean enough or on the other hand, doesn't get enough distortion.So the gain range is increased, making the sound cleaner and more distorted through the range of the Drive Control.Also, the lack of transparency or muddiness becomes a problem for many users.All these things are fixed with this mod, which in turn gives you the most out of this classic pedal.
* The same Texas Instruments RC4558P chip that Keely uses.
* Gold socket for the chip so that you can experiment with different chips.
* A true bypass switch.
* Metal film resistors used in the circuit to improve the signal to noise ratio.
* Film capacitors used in the tone section to provide the smoothest midrange while increasing the bass response.
* More / Less mod to get both more drive and less drive as well as all the sweet stock spots in the middle of the control.
* Cool bright blue LED.
* Comes with retail box, manual / brochures, and power dongle.

我也用太阳脸的808，KEEY的DS1不错，但是808不如 AM的好，这两个实物听过以后买的AM808。
