全世界最著名的朋克搖滾音樂廠牌，旗下大牌雲集，是世界最著名獨立制音工廠之壹.
1980年的夏天裏，洛杉磯的陽光明媚得有些刺眼，還在學校讀高中的Greg Graffin（主唱/吉他）糾集幾個同好死黨Jay Bentley（貝斯），Brett Gurewitz（吉他）和Jay Ziskrout（鼓）壹起組建了後來讓全世界為之歡呼的Bad Religion。別被他們的名字騙了，他們可不是剽悍死硬的金屬樂隊，對於“**”這個名字，Greg曾經解釋說他們只是拿宗教當成是壹種隱喻，更多的則是想要呼籲個體存在於社會之上的自由和權利，他們的歌曲大多都是反對傳統思想的禁錮而並非反對宗教或者信仰，Greg坦言，樂隊成員都是無神論者。起初的他們不想驚天地泣鬼神，只想給自己單調乏味的生活來上點新鮮的刺激而已。當時正值硬核朋克風起雲湧之際，早起的Bad Religion也不可避免地受到了Black Flag，The Germs等樂隊的影響。1981年，他們造就了壹個玩笑式的傳奇。當時由於迫切出版自己的作品，幾個人合力創建了壹個廠牌“墓誌銘唱片”（Epitaph Records），壹開始說是廠牌未免言過其辭，因為它只不過是壹個商標和壹個電子郵箱而已，而現在，它卻演變成世界最著名獨立制音工廠之壹。

Old-School樂隊Anti-Flag幾位成員自己的廠牌。樂隊當然是有些按Anti-Flag自己的評判標準來選擇的，在2004年以前大體上以大Old朋克樂隊為主，政治態度是第壹標準。因此這些樂隊都很極端，很Political。廠牌曾在2004年匹茲堡市的大洪水中毀於壹旦，雖然員工極力挽救了壹些設備和資料，但最終不得不面臨解除了很多優秀樂隊合約的處境。2006年公司的財務危機終被Mordam Records公司的收購所解救，A-F Records被迫成為了後者的子公司。之後發行的作品品質不如從前也就成為理所當然的了。
