Neil Zlozower：我继续为MOTLEY CRUE拍摄现场照片，在1984年，我拍摄了一组命为Blood Session的系列。这个系列可能是我到现在最喜欢的照片了。Sixx有人对我说：“嘿，ZLOZ，我想让乐队拍一组让人感觉很厌恶的图，有点带血的玩意。”我回答：“好啊，没问题。完全随你的意思。”于是，我跑去找我所能找的最贵的质量最好的道具血浆。 Blackie Lawless和W.S.A.P在他们的照片里有用过血浆，但是他们用的血浆道具感觉又稀又廉价。和我们用的道具血浆根本不是一个档次的！！！我们用的血浆出来的效果非常的棒。我把这组照片拿给克鲁的A&R Tom Zutaut看，他非常喜欢。他说乐队刚刚翻了“Helter Skelter”，Electra准备将这首作为圣诞限量单曲发行，而这组照片正好可以派上用场。这年年底，Sixx，Robbin和我一起到 Martinique的Club Med度假。我们在Club Med做任何你想都想不到的事情，完全是毁灭性的，但是还好他们都容忍了我们。当我乘飞机返回LA的机场时，我女友到机场接我，但是她看起来很奇怪。当我问他发生了什么事的时候，她对我说，Vince驾着他的Pantera和Hanio Rocks的Razzle出了事故，R已经死了。OH SHIT!!!当Nikki从Martubuque回来后，和歌迷发生的冲突（？？？也许是这个意思吧 the shit hit the fan,the shit会不会是指Nikki?这句不理解）一时间乐队的形象一落千丈。HS的发行也搁浅了。
Nikki Sixx:那天就像所有在Neil录影棚的所有日子一样：有些小妞就站在拐弯处，到哪都能找到绳子，酒瓶，所有乱七八糟的东西，一眨眼的功夫就堆得到处都是。但是有件事与众不同。贝斯手，也就是我哈，突然灵光一现，想出了个主意。我们要做个让人眼前一亮的翻唱The Beatles的HS的封面照片。那阶段在读完Helter Skelter这本书后我简直迷死Charles Manson了，确切的说，我着迷的是Sharon Tate谋杀案和案后留在现场的那封血书。
所有，那天又不像以往的那些日子，但是确实完美的一天。我大声的说：“嘿 Zloz，给我们点血浆！要真血！猪血神马的！！！”他也大声的回答:“你妹的，Sixx！我可不想在我的摄影棚里弄得到处都是猪血！”他到有老鼠出没的衣柜那去，然后拿了5加仑的道具血浆。我赶紧涂上血浆，还有乐队的成员，Neil的摄影棚起码有90%全都被血浆染到了。在几个小时的酒精和摄像之后，我们就离开这堆烂摊子出去玩了。
当我现在再回看这些图的时候，我只想说：上帝保佑摇滚乐，还有那些清理这堆烂摊子的人。我敢保证这人绝不是Neil，因为那天他和我们一起出去了，知道半夜才回家。
