ヤマハが、Line 6を完全子会社化すると発表。2014年1月末日までにLine 6の全株式を取得し、完全子会社化を完了する予定とのことです。これは驚きのニュースですね。PODをはじめとするギター関連製品やワイヤレス関連製品は、ヤマハの製品ラインを上手く補う感じがしますが、ライブ／SR関連製品はどうなってしまうのでしょうか……。今後の動向に注目です。

估计吉他又被放弃了吧。应该是电子琴等电子产品会被作为重点。

人家是做钢琴起家的乐器公司，转做摩托车厂是 2 战后逼不得已，没人买钢琴，但摩托有市场。做钢琴的机器很容易转做摩托车，结果后来比钢琴还大
他们的商标就是三个音叉代表钢琴的血统

Outline of agreement
Based on the resolutions adopted by the Line 6 board of directors on December 19 and the Yamaha board of directors on December 20, a definitive agreement has been executed regarding the acquisition of all of the capital stock of Line 6.
Yamaha will acquire all of the capital stock of Line 6 owned by the founders, venture funds and employees.
The transaction is expected to be completed during January 2014 after receipt of customary regulatory approvals.
Wells Fargo Securities, LLC served as financial advisor to Line 6, Inc. and Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal advisor to Line 6, Inc. 好久了已经 YAMAHA是产业真多 卖Vocaloid都卖的不错呢 收购后 2015第一大作， VX midi 吉他不再由 James Tyler做，改Yamaha 做的平价系列了
