Serious Electric Bass ！！！求助啊！！！

最近在看 Serious Electric Bass 这本书，英文啊！看到头疼啊！其中有一段调八度音的，看到不甚懂啊，求大神翻译一下！！！
特别是这个 the octave and a fifth 不知道该怎么翻译，八度音和五度音？还是这八度音程里面的五度音？还是这个八度里面的第五个音？求指点

To truly fine tune your bass, especially one with a two-octave neck, you should intonate each string at the octave and a fifth (high D on the G string) as well as at the octave. After you have intonated the octave and its harmonic to your satisfaction, move up to the octave and a fifth (19th fret), and repeat the process.

求翻译！！！！

调这根弦高八度的五度音

就是说空弦音和12品泛音对准后去调试19品，来回调到两边都准为止
