著名吉他制作大师Dana Bourgeois自从在自己的大学寝室制作了第一把原声吉他，（缅因州Bowdoin College）到1978年，Dana Bourgeois开始了制作吉它的职业生涯。之后，他接受了Eric Schoenberg的邀请，开始了与其10年的合作，制作了超过300支打着Schoenberg牌子并有Dana Bourgeois签名的吉他，期间还为Martin吉他设计并做最后的组装，调试。

在1990年，Dana Bourgeois加入了Paul Reed Smith Guitars为PRS设计原声吉他。之后，Dana Bourgeois又协助Gibson建立并调试Gibson位于蒙大拿的吉他厂的生产设备，并于1995年成立了自己的吉他工坊Bourgeois（布尔乔亚） Guitars。

2000年10月，Pantheon Guitars成立，从业超过25年，设计和制作了超过1000把最为出类拔萃的原声吉它后，Dana Bourgeois成为这个拥有优秀资本资源，完备营销网络和制作最出色原色吉他为理念的公司的一员。每个在Pantheon Guitars工作的员工都以成为最顶尖的原声吉他制作者而努力。同时，作为Pantheon Guitars的一员，Dana也有了专注于设计和制造真正HI END原声吉他的条件和资源。
2005年，当Dana Bourgeois开始从事设计，制作原声吉他的事业30年之际，他这样评论到:”对于我们制作的吉他和消费者的良好反馈，我个人十分的高兴！Pantheon为我提供了能够专注于设计和制造最好品质原声吉他的机会。”

所有的Pantheon吉他都是在美国缅因州手工制作，琴头的Bourgeois（布尔乔亚）签名是乐手和爱好者所要求和期待的最好的钢弦原声吉他品质的标识。Pantheon Guitars坐落于美国缅因州路易斯顿，厂房是1840年代留下的。Dana和制琴师们每个月都以独立手工制作的方式生产30把左右的吉他。每一把琴都由Dana亲自挑选木料，并做最后的调校，所有的制琴师都以专业的水准按照最高品质，制造出极具“歌唱性”的Burgeois Guitar。
