虽然他的艺名是 DJ Ashba，但是他真心和打碟没半毛钱关系，作为现在最炙手可热的美式硬摇滚吉他手，和他合作的艺人全都是令人振聋发聩的超级大咖－Mötley Crüe, Guns N' Roses, Drowning Pool, Marion Raven........
他16岁生日那天看了人生第一场摇滚演唱会，洛杉矶流行金属超级大牌 Mötley Crüe 的girls girls 巡演，受到极大震撼。18岁下定决心走上音乐之路，赤手空拳来到好莱坞摇滚圈闯荡。出色的演奏技术与俊朗的外形使得他迅速在高手如云的好莱坞摇滚乐界崛起，得到许多与他儿时偶像共同工作的机会。
2007年起至今，与著名的 Mötley Crüe 贝斯手 Nikki Sixx 共同组建了Sixx:A.M.
