Nick 自称他的演奏风格为 'Atomic rock (原子摇滚)'，旋律优美充满细节感。凭借 2014 年发行的第三张个人专辑 'Atomic Mind' 的良好表现，Nick Johnston 一举成为 Schecter Guitar Research 美国手工定制店系列的代言人，并由 Schecter 美国手工定制店为其制作了个人签名款吉他。
