Jason 于2016年制作了自己的首张个人专辑——《I》，以彻底向大家展现他的想法与技术。首张专辑一经发行就得到了新派金属乐迷们的喜爱，国内外都有不少关于Jason的讨论和曲子翻弹。《I》让Jason的知名度又上了一层，到现在可以说是八九成的新派金属乐迷都会听过他的曲子。

接触过一些难度系数较大的速弹演奏的朋友应该都明白，要在现场演奏达到非常高的还原度以及几乎无失误是非常非常难，需要非常强的练琴功底和机能的。JR即使在那种变化幅度大且多样的情况下，仍然很自然而然地达到了非常清晰干净精准的演奏。
