Art & Lutherie 吉他的音梁均采用交叉支撑的阿迪朗达克云杉木，经过精准地打磨来贴合面板的曲面程度。阿迪朗达克云杉木的强度很高，重量又轻，这种材料是制作音梁最为理想的材料。它的高强度能保证了琴身能稳定地保持琴弦张力不变，使其共振更加优秀，声音更加饱满。
2. 精选经过压力测试的优质面板

吉他是通过琴弦的振动而产生声音，但很多人有所不知的是吉他面板在放大这种振动的效果也是十分重要的。实际上，面板的振动是吉他音色中最为重要的因素之一，高端面板的吉他能提供更加丰富饱满的音色和更宽的动态范围。所有 Art & Lutherie 的吉他均采用精选经过压力测试的高端面板，每块经过压力测试的面板都能保证其拥有最高水准的强度、硬度和声音动态。它提升了吉他的整体音色、共振以及聚焦水准，还保证了乐器长久的使用寿命，这对演奏者的体验来说是十分明显的提升。这种木材具有紧致、线条状的纹理，呈现了一种强度和柔韧度的独特的结合——面板在沿纹理方向的强度足够高，可以承受琴弦的拉力；同时它在横向（穿过纹理）的柔韧度也保证了面板能够自由持续的振动。
3. 煲琴

优质面板的振动要比层压式面板更加自由持久，因此能够产生更加饱满的音色，更加具有动态的音色范围以及更加均衡的声音。不仅是新琴，随着时间的推移，长时间的演奏会不断地提升吉他的状态，使其共振更加出众。这种现象被称为“aging”（可理解为煲琴），意思是吉他弹得越久，声音越好。需要知道的是一定要弹，而不是把吉他存放起来不弹，这一点十分重要。吉他放在琴盒里5年不动只会让琴老化，而不会使吉他共振更好。
4. 琴颈双向调节杆

大多数吉他在琴颈都有可调节的金属杆，一般都叫作钢筋。钢筋在琴颈受到琴弦张力会略微弯曲，湿度变化时会拉直琴弦。如果琴颈变成后弯，传统的固定方法是拧松钢筋并通过琴弦的拉力将琴颈拉回到理想形状。但这并不总是有效的，这也是为什么我们在 Art＆Lutherie 的琴颈上采用了调整了琴颈双向调节杆的原因。 钢筋能够在两个方向上弯曲，无论是正向还是反向，都可以对琴颈进行前所未有的控制。

你是否注意到，当一把调音十分完美的吉他换给到另一个人演奏时，仍然需要调音？ 这与不同的乐手在琴颈上施加不同的力量有关，这一因素会影响到调音。多年以前，我们发现通过在颈后跟插入枫木榫钉可以明显改善这个问题，这种加固使琴颈强度增强几倍。
6. 曲面面板

吉他面板是影响吉他音色最重要的因素，面板上音孔周围做成轻度的拱面能够有效的抵抗指板产生的压力，增强了面板的结构整体性，使得音梁和面板的整体重量更轻。曲面面板的稳定性更加优秀，共振更加出色。琴体音孔下方面板为平面，使得声音更加集中。琴桥周围的这一区域是面板共振最为强烈的地方。
7. 纹理对称

在制作面板时最初使用的是一块木料，从中平均切开分成两块——就像一本书，然后再用胶粘在一起，这样使得木材纹理是完美的对称。这种方法称为“bookmatching”（纹理对称）。
8. 琴颈仰角

为了享受精心制作的琴颈，将琴颈连接在琴身时需要经过特别的处理。琴颈连接琴身的角度——一般叫作“琴颈仰角”，在音色中起到了非常重要的作用。很简单，如果琴颈太靠后，声音更干瘪，低频会丢失；如果琴颈太靠前，声音太混浊，高频会丢失。Art＆Lutherie 的琴颈连接保证了完全一致的琴颈仰角，同时也提供了难以置信的振动传递，因为 Art＆Lutherie 的琴颈与琴体是完全的木材与木材的连接。这一连接中不存在胶水损失了琴体和琴颈的振动。
