提到吉他Solo相信每一位吉他手心中都会有自己所爱的曲子，有人会选择Eddie Van Halen 的 “Eruption”，有人会选择 SRV 的 “Texas Flood”以及其他各种伟大的优秀的吉他演奏。毫无疑问这些作品都是传世的经典，这些吉他手也将自己的技巧和编排技巧发挥到了极致。

但也有很多吉他手永远也不会考虑自己的吉他演奏是否出彩，是否亮眼，而是将目光放在了音符的选择，音色的选择以及与歌曲的契合度，以至于我们很难注意到他们。但这或许就是一首优秀吉他 Solo 的定义，它完全从歌曲的角度出发，提供歌曲所需要的部分。
