“要走过多少的远路，才能成为一个真正的男人”（有的翻成好汉，相差更远）。这样的翻译使人误解原作，似乎是说男人要经过磨练云云。
实际上，这首歌是呼吁人权和反战的歌。跟男人，女人，好汉没有关系。第一句是写人们没有人权，所以说，“一个人要走多少路，才能被称为一个人”，这句要点是最后一个字：人。在那时，没有人权，人不被当作人，被强迫送去当炮灰，黑人更受到种族主义者的歧视。所以才这么说。
另，大部分原唱是扫弦，而楼主给的图片是分解。似乎paul三重唱是分解，虽然最受欢迎，但我还是觉得bob用扫弦的原唱更有力，有味。
