<H3></H3></DIV>　　Marty Friedman 从小生长在美国首都华盛顿特区(Washington DC.)，学生时代曾经参加当地的庞克摇滚乐团 "Deuce"，'80年代初期搬到夏威夷，在那组了一个叫做 "Hawaii" 的金属乐团，之后在德国住了一段时间，1986 年应 "Shrapnel" 唱片掌门人 Mike Varney 之邀前往加州，和吉他神童 Jason Becker 合组华丽金属乐团 "Cacophony"，同年发行 Speed Metal Symphony，这个组合以充满东方韵味的旋律，有别于时下一般金属乐团。 
<DIV class=spctrl></DIV>　　1988 年，乐团发表第二张专辑 Go Off！获得乐界良好的评价，与此同时，Marty发表个人第一张吉他演奏专辑 "Dragon's Kiss"，Marty 以他充满韵味的弹奏技巧，并融合了东方的五声音阶，震惊了当时的摇滚乐界，各大吉他杂志媒体争相采访，Marty 瞬时之间成了吉他名人。 
<DIV class=spctrl></DIV>　　1990 年 Cacophony解散，Jason Becker 加入前 Van Halen 主唱 David Lee Roth 的乐团，接替 Steve Vai 的职位，Marty 受邀前往 Megadeth 担任主奏吉他手，十年的时间录制了多张经典名作。也让他获得五项葛莱美奖的提名，Marty 虽然身在Megadeth但不忘推出个人的音乐作品，1992 年做了一个大胆的尝试，他邀请日本冥想音乐大师 "Kitaro"(喜多郎)担任个人专辑的制作人，推出了 "Scenses" 这张充满了新世纪韵味的重金属吉他演奏专辑，1994 年再度与喜多郎合作发表 "introduction" 专辑，这两张作品乐界的评价褒贬参半，但是不可否认的，这的确是一项新的尝试，以前从未有人能够这么巧妙的将重金属吉他与新世纪音乐结合。 
<DIV class=spctrl></DIV>　　1996 年 Marty 个人第四张专辑 "True Obsessions" 发表，恢复了往常的摇滚曲风。这时候的Megadeth 已经是名列主流摇滚乐坛上的金属劲旅，2000年底 Marty 离开 Megadeth，专心制作个人最新专辑，2002 年底完成 "Music For Speeding"，于 2003 年初陆续由日本 Universal、欧盟 Mascot、台湾 Rock Empire、美国 Favored Nations 进行全世界的发行，专辑除了快速的指法外，当然也融合了 Marty 擅长的东方五声音阶。时间的历炼，使 Marty 的技巧变的更加纯熟、旋律变的更加优美，整体感觉令人更为动容。 
<DIV class=spctrl></DIV>　　这位曾经荣获多次葛莱美奖提名 (Grammy Nominated )，唱片销售量达数百万张的吉他大师，目前定居在亚利桑那州，受吉他神童 Paul Gilbert 盛情之邀，Marty 前往日本担任 MI 东京分校的首席吉他讲师，住在繁华热闹的新宿区，并巡回于日本各大城市中传授琴艺。他今年也将前来台湾举办吉他讲座演奏，和乐迷们见面。</DIV>
