VID四重奏组建于2007年，迄今已在英国主要演奏场馆获得广泛好评，包括Kingʼs Place (London), The Sage (Gateshead) 和 St Georgeʼs (Bristol)等地。在欧洲的诸多吉他艺术节也经常出现，2011年首次登陆美国，在洛杉矶和纽约等地演出。发行的首张CD叫 ʻLove, the Magicianʼ (BGS118)，2013年发行新CDʻRhapsodyʼ ，曲目包括George Gershwin, Malcolm Arnold 和Adam Gorb等人的作品。

四重奏成员分别是：Mark Ashford、Mark Eden、Christopher Stell和Helen Sanderson。

Mark Ashford毕业于契天音乐学院（Chetham’s School of Music） 和皇家音乐学院（the Royal Academy of Music）, 曾在西班牙向大卫罗素学习，是许多国际吉他比赛的获奖者，包括美国GFA、意大利亚历山大吉他比赛、斯堪的纳维亚国际吉他比赛、布里姆奖和BBC青年音乐家奖。 目前在伯明翰音乐学院任教。

Mark Eden 和 Christopher Stell 是著名的俄登二重奏成员（Eden Stell Guitar Duo），1990年在皇家音乐学院学习时组建，在布鲁塞尔像阿萨德兄弟（Sérgio and Odair Assad）学习，在 BGS, Docker 和Hänssler Classicl等唱片公司发行过8张CD，迄今已经在20多个国家演奏过。在皇家音乐学院（ the Royal College of Music）、伯明翰音乐学院（Birmingham Conservatoire）等高校任教。

Helen Sanderson也毕业于皇家音乐学院（ the Royal College of Music），师从 Charles Ramirez，毕业时获得两个吉他奖项( the Madeline Walton prize for guitar、the prestigious Anthony Saltmarsh Bursary），也在欧美多国演奏过。
