此琴最显著的特征如下
1.琴桥不再是Musicman的JP signature 琴桥
改变为Floyd Rose 1000 琴桥
(值得一提的是官方标注压电系统仍然在 但是我不清楚他会怎么工作 因为旋钮变回了两个 拾音器切换拨挡开关也取消了)
（更值得一提的是 我极度怀疑是压电仍然存在这个信息有误）
希望有钱的JP粉（哈哈） 可以搞一把来评测评测
2.琴体的右手靠臂处（不知道怎么讲...）又回归为原本的JP6的比较犀利的形状（但还是有一些不同 JP16比JP6更大一些 烦请自行看图片比照）
3.拾音器仍然是Illuminator
音量旋钮可以提拉 提供20DB的增益 和13以后一样
音色旋钮可以提拉 改串联为并联 和13以后一样
4.乌木指板 烤枫木琴颈
5.增加了琴头压弦条
这在JP系列是史无前例的
6.又换成了单孔输出
