Centenario is made the same way as 1a Traditional. If I were to buy a Ramírez, I'd just go for the 1a, around $7800CAD. Played a new one at 12th Fret once in Toronto (www.12fret.com), very nice guitar!

* Serial Number:... none; label indicates 1993
* Description:... In the early '90s Ramirez made the Model SP in the same small exclusive workshop that crafted their Model 1a guitars. The same journeyman luthiers who were trusted to fabricate the highest concert grade instruments were also making this SP model for a short period until it was found to be not financially viable. It is not often that one of these instruments surfaces for resale as they are highly sought after. This particular instrument has all of the lush warm tonality and immediacy of response that Ramirez has built their reputation on!

* Body:... solid Western Red cedar top with solid Indian rosewood back & sides; bass side has pro-repaired crack in waist area (structurally sound and visually unobtrusive); top has 'ding' behind bridge by low E string
* Finish:... original gloss finish is in 8/10 condition; minor wear on top
