Ignacio Fleta is regarded by many as the greatest guitar maker of the twentieth century. Born in Huesca, Spain, on July 31, 1897. Fleta's father was a carpenter, and it was from him that the young Ignacio developed a love of working with wood. As a youth, Ignacio was fascinated by music and by the time he was eight years old, he could play the guitar. Fleta's introduction to the world of musical instruments began at the age of thirteen, when he was employed by a French luthier and learned the basics of guitar construction.  Ignacio Fleta是世所公认的２０世纪最伟大的吉他制作者，　生于西班牙　Huesca,７月31, 1897年．　他父亲是个木匠，从小时侯开始ＦＬＥＴＡ就喜欢木工，年轻时受音乐感召，那时他只有８岁．　他就可以演奏吉他了，他１３岁时师从一位法国弦乐器制作家，从此开始名扬天下，


In 1927,  Ignacio　established his own business in Barcelona. The first instrument he made was a cello. He also carried out restoration work on lutes, guitars, and bowed instruments. From 1939 to 1945, he reproduced a collection of old instruments for the musical society "Ars Musica". These included a gothic harp, a violin, a lute, avuhuela, and a modern guitar. This commissioned instrument collection was extremely successful, and his name soon became associated across the world with quality.  1927年Ignacio在巴塞罗那创立了他的吉他作坊，第一把乐器他做的是一个ＣＥＬＬＯ，也做了ＬＵＴＥ鲁特，吉他，和其他弓乐器．　从１９３９－１９４５，他为一个名为＂音乐艺术＂的社团仿制了很多古老的乐器，这里面包括哥特式竖琴，一把小提琴，鲁特琴，avuhuela（二胡胡拉？）和　一把现代吉他．　这些仿制乐器如此成功，使他以质量迅速扬名世界．

In 1955 Fleta heard Andres Segovia for the first time. He was so impressed that he decided to dedicate the rest of his life to building guitars. Two years later, he made the first of three guitars which Segovia was to perform on. Since that time, over 700 guitars have been made in the Fleta workshops and many of the greatest guitarists of the the last few decades have owned his instruments: Alexandre Lagoya, Eduardo Falu, Alberto Ponce, and John Williams, to name a few. Since Ignacio's death on August 11, 1977, his two sons Francisco (born 1925) and Gabriel (born 1929) have carried on the family business. Ignacio Fleta died in August 1977 at the age of 80.
１９５５年，ＦＬＥＴＡ第一次听说了塞戈为亚，被他的事迹所感动，ＦＬＥＴＡ决定用自己的余生来专门制作吉他．　他第一次做的三把琴里面有一把就是塞爷经常演奏用．　　自此，大概有７００把吉他在ＦＬＥＴＡ的作坊里诞生，很多伟大的演奏家都拥有ＦＬＥＴＡ吉他，Alexandre Lagoya, Eduardo Falu, Alberto Ponce, and John Williams,等等．．　为了能研制更多更好的乐器以提供给全世界的吉他爱好者，他日以继夜的工作，终于积劳成疾，Ignacio FLETA　在１９７７年８月１１日在作坊里去世，死的时候手里还拿着一把刨刀．终年８０岁．
