Tough piece Dude! I have checked against my version which I fingered myself and from what I can see you have it pretty well sorted but I would like to suggest a couple of little changes you might like to consider which may make it more accessible for you!
Bar 2 - Slide up to 2nd position on the 2nd beat which facilitates the 4th finger pull off from the G on the 4th string at the end of that bar. Saves the easy to miss shift at the end of the bar that you are just getting each time.
Bar 5 - Try using the 2nd finger for the bass C rather than swinging that 1st across.
Bar 7 - I start this bar off in 3rd position on the 4th string using a 3rd to 4th finger pull off ending up on the 5th string in 1st position for both executions of the bar rather than just on the 2nd as you are doing.
Bar 10 - Rather than shifting to 7th position on the last two notes of the bar try remaining in 6th position by using a 3rd to 2nd finger pull off then moving in to 7th position when you place the chord at the beginning of the 11th bar. This fingering means that the 1st finger free to place on the bar as are the 3rd and 4th which you need also.
Bar 17 - Tricky but here is something to try! Rather than going across the strings as you are try going down the 1st string to 6th position using 1st to 2nd finger hammer ons then go across the 2nd and 3rd strings before using a trick slide on the 4th string from the A# to the B using the 3rd finger. This leaves your 1st, 2nd and 4th fingers free to grab the chord again on the repeat and to then easily move down the 4th to play the E# to F# at the 3rd position.
Bar 18 - Although the notes are only a semitone apart I use a 1st to 3rd finger hammer on the 4th string followed by a 2nd to 4th pull off on the 5th before moving to 1st position for the A# to B.
Bar 22 - A sod of a bar made even more difficult by an error in the score I believe. I think the bass note on the final beat should be an A not G#. Certainly a lot easier to play and sounds well to my ear! These editions are notorious for their errors.

A reply to ramsnake after my retry.
Bar 2, good suggestion. easy change, great improvement. Thanks!
Bar 5, I still want to keep my fingering. switching to the 2nd beat seems more difficult if the 1st beat using 12.
Bar 7, interesting one, your verion is good at connecting the next measure, mine looks easier to follow the previous measure. but both of ours have bad scratch sound from the left hand shift. I'm not sure which one I should use later yet.
Bar 10, I think I get a better solution at the 3rd beat. that's 1 2-2 1. slide up 2 and use 1 to bar VII for the last note. so the left hand fingers are totally ready to connect the next measure.
Bar 17, I use two different fingering for this time, may consider change next...
Bar 18, totally agree! Thanks again!
Bar 22, I don't agree. I think the G is right. I try to play the base notes ONLY from Bar 19 to 23. it makes sense to me that the unstable G is resolving at A. yes, holding the G is more difficult to play, but I think I can do it. |
