『效果器的收藏』我的87年产的合唱CE3
BOSS的合唱为什么新出的型号就那么差呢？无论是ch1还是ce5真是黄鼠狼下耗子一代不如一代，原来经典的CE-1 CE2都是传奇。ce3比ce2多了立体声输出， ce3还提供另外的一种双输出，就是带效果的和不带效果的一起出声，很有特色。我这个是绿色贴纸的二代日产，第一代是黑色贴纸的，编号是：812405 ，生产于1987年。最下面一张是我的两个VINTAGE合唱的合影，呵呵。

CE-3 Chorus
This chorus pedal have adjustments for depth and rate and supports in addition a stereo output. Having two outputs gives you the option of having a chorused signal from Output A and the direct signal at the same time from Output B. These can be panned left and right to simulate the sound of two guitars playing simultaneously.
The placement of the 3 knobs are not typical. This is the only 3-knob pedal that has the knobs in a row. As this causes the LED to become hidden behind the middle knob, it was a solution that was soon changed in favor of the normal V shaped 3 knob controls.
There are minor colour versions of this pedal and some versions have white top knobs as well. The knobs was on the later models changed to white top knobs. The CE-3 was the first metallic coloured Boss compact pedal.
Version differences
[*]The earlier versions had all black knobs. These where later changed to the white top knobs.
Boss Pocket Dictionary vol.3 (1986):
In order to make optimum use of the CE-3, it is important to fully understand how the Stereo Mode control works.
In Mode I, the signal at the A output jack is a combination of the direct signal plus a positive-phase effect signal (direct+effect), while the signal at the B output jack is a combination of the direct signal plus a reverse-polarity effect signal (direct-effect). The two outputs can be further combined and sent separately to two amps in order to create a true, wide stage stereo chorus sound with a lush, swirling and deep effect.
[*]In Mode II, only the effect signalis sent to the output jack, and the B output jack receives no effect signal at all. This is the same configuration found on the original CE-1 and on Roland's well-known Jazz Chorus Amplifiers.[*]When Using the monaural setting, set the Stereo Mode control to Mode I.

[ 本帖最后由 蓝调吉他手 于 2008-7-1 21:02 编辑 ] 首先崇拜楼主的收藏，我觉得绝大多数收藏vintage东西的人，无论收集什么，都是有品位，有生活，有思想的人。但我不太明白为什么老效果器声音总是受到崇拜。是因为量产，还是第三世界国家建厂以后制作工艺的下降？还有，现在hi-fi技术日新月异后，却有很多人回归了老电子管收音机。这些是视听习惯，还是流行时尚的循环往复？
只是想讨论讨论~~~ CE-2 Chorus
The CE-2 was the first compact pedal chorus from Boss. The CE-1 was released 1976 and contained the exact same circuit as the Roland Jazz Chorus JC-120 Amp. The CE-2 builds on the legacy of the CE-1 but isn't identical. The middle region is boosted in the CE-2 compared to the CE-1. According to the design engineers this may be because the CE-1 had a lower input impedance.
Roland says that they stopped marketing the CE-2 November 1982. The pedal was however still produced and sold at least out 1990. The label changed from black to green 1984. The CE-2 was produced in Japan up until 1988 when production moved to Taiwan. The CE-2s circuit changed very little over its more than 10 years in production.
Version differences
The CE-2 exists in both silver screw and black screw versions.
The font used on the "Chorus" label is wider on some versions. This results in the C in CE-2 to be located under the r in Chorus on the earliest models while it later ended up under the u.
The circuit has gone through some minor changes but nothing significant. All versions of the CE-2 are designed around the MN3007 BBD using MN3101 clock driver.

首先崇拜楼主的收藏，我觉得绝大多数收藏vintage东西的人，无论收集什么，都是有品位，有生活，有思想的人。但我不太明白为什么老效果器声音总是受到崇拜。是因为量产，还是第三世界国家建厂以后制作工艺的下降？还有 ...
不是说老的就一定好这也是误区但是老的确实有的比现在音色好比如 boss od-1 没有tone钮 0D3多一个音色钮在电路的设计上就不同了反而有些画蛇添足 影响了动态 。还有一些新的换了芯片或者改良了电路减少了噪音音色却下降了。其实 老的垃圾单块也不少，收到好评的也不是很多。
对于收藏来说 ，这是一种品位，也是一种生活，就像集邮。 物以稀为贵嘛， 我藏的基本都是停产的。

谢谢你的更正。在国内老的boss不多见，日本当然多了，可惜看得见买不到。 蓝版,只有黑标的第一代日产BOSS才值得收藏.其他的可有可无.
这点要注意.否则花大价钱买来就不合适了. 根据这个序列号查询器我的日产ce-2编号是685300查询后结果是1987的
