2楼Todd的回复已经解释的很清楚了。

Martin's modern "long" saddle is not the same as their pre-1965 "through" saddles. The modern ones are mostly for looks. They sit in a deeply routed slot, very similar to the short drop-in saddles. To complicate description further, Martin makes two types of "long" saddles...drop-in and glued-in.

The original "through" saddles sat in a saw-cut slot, which put more wood between the bottom of saddle and the guitar top. I believe that changes tone, but I doubt the modern long version is much difference since it sits about as deep as a short drop-in.
