The Martin DXME is an affordable Martin Guitar that features every bit of their high quality construction, ease of play, and commitment to tone.
Tonally, the DXM has a surprising volume and projection with the warmth and resonance guitarists have come to love from Martin. The DXM's top features a unique solid-spruce reinforced version of Martin's famous X-pattern bracing. Its unusual, half mahogany & half East Indian rosewood split bridge support plate has a dramatic and positive effect on the DXM's tone.
The onboard Sonicore electronics provide tone-shaping EQ and volume controls. The top, back and sides are constructed of a wood-fiber derivative material laminated under high pressure. The DXM features a solid genuine mahogany low profile neck with a Morado (Bolivian rosewood) fingerboard & bridge and chrome enclosed tuners.
