What is your main guitar?
Taka Goto (electric guitar, glockenspiel) : Fender Jazzmaster 1966
Yoda (electric guitar, glockenspiel) : Fender Stratocaster 1974
What amp/cab are you playing through currently?
Taka : Fender Twin Reverb 1965 Blackface Reissue & Marshall JCM 2000 DSL100 [through a] Marshall 1960B 4×12.

What are your amp settings to get such a killer tone? Any differences with your live settings and studio settings?
Taka : For the Fender Twin Reverb – Vol 5, Treble 4, Middle 5, Bass 5. For the Marshall JCM 2000 – Vol 5, Treble 0, Middle 10, Bass 10, Gain 5, Presence 0. Basically there is no difference between live and studio [settings].
Yoda : Vol 4, Treble 4, Middle 5, Bass 5
What pedals are you currently using?
Taka : Boss TU-2 Tuner, RV-5 Digital Reverb, RV-3 Digital Reverb/Delay, two DD-3 Digital Delays, PS-2 Phase Shifter/Delay, RC-30 Loop Station, SIB Mr. Echo, Dan Electro Fabtone and a Morley Wah Pedal.
Yoda : Boss TU-2 Tuner, OD-3 OverDrive, FDR-1 ’65 Deluxe Reverb, RV-3 Digital Reverb/Delay, RV-5 Digital Reverb, DD-6 Digital Delay, DD-3 Digital Delay, LS-2 Line Selector, RC-30 Loop Station, Tech21 Sansamp GT-2 and a Pro-Co Rat
What one pedal would you say is most vital to achieving your live tone?
Taka : I love the sounds of Boss’ delay and reverb pedals especially DD-3 (1995-2005).
Yoda : Boss RV-5 Digital Reverb
Who is a guitarist you particularly strive to emulate with your guitar tone?
Taka : Loren Connors
