take the two gibby, put them through a same amp with same knobs configuration, you will feel all the difference. sorry can't puttin zhongwen now..................................
they all sound definately like 'typical gibson tone', but the difference is there. As you need to be there, play the same thing, you will feel it. Oldder gibby sounds more
Buz; new gibby gives you more morden feeling, a little bit more smooth. It mainly depends on the preference: hard rock gigs or some morden solo tracks from CD.
Finally all above is not a problem for you to choose a guitar, gibson is always gibson. Your finger technique will make everything possible. BTW: have you ever listened
to John5's practising? he played Slash's licks through out his fender 'finger prints' but it sounds also, let me use the word: great! |
