Hey this is Chris Broderick. I'm here at namm with the music zoo , and I'm gonna tell you about my new guitar that I got coming out.
This is a import version of my USA customs that I've had. And it's an awesome guitar. I really wanted to put it out because it's more of a affordable version of what I'm already playing. I could definitely see myself playing this easily. I'll tell you guys some of the differences , and then a lot of the same features that it maintain . The differences really obviously you see right off the back , you know, we have manufactured out of the country ,and the top ,it's all solid mahogany top, so this no flame maple top on this one, but you know for you,a electric purist , you might not even want that ,so that's good.
we got same asymmetrical body,same pickups,we maintain on that ,and the same tonal configuation, three way switch, push-pull, single coil humbuckers split, and then the pull on the tone knob actually engage the tone knob,and finally we got the killswitch right here.
On the back, we got the jackson tuners, as oppose to the planet waves tuners setted on the usa custom, then we the 12 inch radius fretboard that we maintain, didn't keep steel frets on this guy, but the frets are great ,and hugh, and they really work well with my playing.
besides that ,a lot of it is the same. the only others thing is the bridge, it's a standard floyd rose bridge as opposed to the pro version that come on the usa customs. these guitars are awesome though.especially for what you have paid for, it's a great guitar ,feels awesome, it has the weight of my usa customs ,and therefore the tone of my usa customs ,and it's just the solid looking guitar ,simple ,stright to the point. |
