1  boss的效果器很少   和国内情况大不一样

2 效果器使用好复杂   我觉得好多日本乐队的失真音色都很面  一点都不粗

EquipmentKaoru is endorsed by ESP Guitars in Japan, who provides him with most of his guitars, picks, and straps. In the past, Kaoru primarily used ESP Custom Shop guitars from his signature-series, Ganesa. He stopped using the Ganesa guitars around 2005 and switched to the Viper series, in which he has his own custom model, the D-KV-420.Recently a limited edition Edwards version of his D-KV is being sold.
ESP has released several replicas of Kaoru's signature guitars in Japan through the ESP and Edwards product lines. The ESP artist series offers replicas of the D-KV-420 and the Ganesa II. Edwards offers a miniature Ganesa and replicas of the Ganesa IV and VIII.

ESP	Ganesa I	Originally made with a see-thru purple finish on an alder body, which was covered when the guitar was sent to the ESP Custom Shop for repair. ESP also refers to it as Ganesa Sabe because of its faux-rusted metal finish.[1]
ESP	Ganesa II	Has a quilted maple top, which is typically used for aesthetic purposes on instruments, that has been covered by opaque black paint since the guitar's creation.[1]
ESP	Ganesa III	Has a purple quilt maple top, and is fitted with a sustainer system
ESP	Ganesa IV	Same as the Ganesa II, but with an all alder body instead of the usual quilted maple top and mahogany back.
ESP	Ganesa V	Kaoru broke the headstock during the Tour 00 >> 01 Macabre and the guitar was fixed by the ESP Custom Shop, but the damage was not painted over.[1]
ESP	Ganesa VI	First Ganesa to feature the slimmer body of the later models.
ESP	Ganesa VII	The seven-string Ganesa model. Two were made so Kaoru could use two different seven-string tunings.[1]
ESP	Ganesa VIII	First of Kaoru's guitars to have his "Japanese Zombie Heroes" slogan painted on the back of the neck, which was then added to most of the existing Ganesas.[1]
ESP	Ganesa IX	Little information is released on this guitar. It features a metallic silver finish, and can be seen in Dir en grey's music video and television performance of "Embryo".
ESP	VP-200	none
ESP	VP-CTM	Custom made for Kaoru, has a quilted maple top and a custom see-thru pink and purple sunburst finish.[2]
ESP	VP-SL7	The artist's only seven-string Viper.[2] It can be seen during live performances of "Obscure".
ESP	VP-Prototypes	Early versions of Kaoru's recent signature guitar. These and the models which followed have more definition in the body than regular Vipers.[2]
ESP	VP-DKV-420	His signature model from ESP.[2]
ESP	Horizon Custom	Has a black see-thru finish with a quilted maple top.[citation needed]
ESP	Horizon III Kaoru Custom	A see-thru purple Horizon, maple body and neck. Used same as the other Horizon.
ESP	MA300 Custom	The MA300 Custom has an alder body, maple neck, and it uses EMG pickups. A sustainer was installed after a performance at the Budokan
Jerry Jones	Baby Sitar	The Sitar is used only for the recording of mazohyst of decadence.
PRS	Custom 24	Has a see-thru grey-black flame maple top.[3] The guitar can be seen during the performance of "Kodoku ni Shisu, Yueni Kodoku." on the It Withers and Withers DVD.
Fender	Jaguar	The Fender Jaguar was only used for faster recording on Gauze. The serial number for Kaoru's Jaguar is 187753.[citation needed]
Gibson	Les Paul Standard	They were used only for recording on Gauze.
Gibson	Flying V	Has a cherry finish with white pickguard.[citation needed]

Equipment
Die is endorsed by ESP Guitars in Japan who provides him with most of his guitars, picks, and straps. He has two lines of signature-series guitar from the ESP Custom Shop guitars called the DDT and D-DR models. Both models are based on the classic Telecaster body, the original DDT model being a copy of it and the newer D-DR model appearing to be a combination of a telecaster and an ESP F-body. In live performances he mainly uses amplification and red covered cabinets by Mesa/Boogie (Road King amplifier and Rectifier 4x12 cabinets).[citation needed]
Both of Die's signature guitars have replica models available in Japan through the ESP and Edwards product lines. ESP offers replicas of the D-DR 300 and DDT #00004. Edwards offers replicas of the same models as ESP and a miniature DDT.

Toshiya

Equipment
Near the beginning of the band's career, Toshiya was endorsed by Killer Guitars in Japan. During this period he primarily used guitars with the company's Kumovi body and later his signature-series bass, the Beelze, which is similar to a reverse version of a typical Rickenbacker guitar. These signatures had a verse written by Toshiya on the headstock instead of the standard Killer logo. The third model he used from Killer was a custom bass called the 3epo.
Toshiya is currently endorsed by Fuko in Japan, who provides most of his basses, picks, and straps. His endorsement began with P-bass style guitars, used for most of the bands songs, and Lakland 5-string guitars used for low-tuned songs such as "Obscure". He now primarily uses his signature-series basses from the ESP Custom Shop called the RU-Drive, which is a copy of the Gibson RD body shape. Replicas of the discontinued Beelze series were once available through Killer, who still offers a non-signature version of it under the series name Simmony. ESP currently offers replicas of the 22-fret RU-Drive in both the ESP and Edwards artist series.

ESP Guitars	D-TR Prototype	Precursor to the RU-Drive series. It features a modified version of a left-handed P-bass body and has the same headstock as the RU-Drive models, including Toshiya's custom ESP logo. It can be seen on the The Code of Vulgar[ism] DVD, i.e. during the performance of "Child Prey".[1]
ESP Guitars	Halibut - ash	Recently replaced his Lakland Bass. A standard stock 5 string bass that is available in the new japanese 08 ESP catalog.
Seymour Duncan	DP-100 RSV	Like many of the artist's guitars, it became heavily decorated with stickers and electrical tape over time, leading to confusion whether it was still the same model. Later replaced by the ESP Prototype.[1]
Lakland	55-94 Classic	Alternating models with either a white or black finish.[1]
Gibson	Flying V	Has a white finish with white pickguard.
Killer	Beelze	Toshiya's signature Killer bass. Used several models with either a black and white finish. One can be seen broken in the Ware photo book.
Killer	3epo	A custom bass designed by Toshiya with a biomechanical look, the body resembling that of a reptile or insect. Has a primarily purple finish with details in white. The guitar can be seen on Dir en grey's 1999.12.18 Osakajo Hall release and the "Myaku" music video, available on the Kimon compilation. It has since been retired.
Killer	Vulture	Alternating models with either a see-thru blue finish or a matte black finish.
Killer	Eve	Used multiple versions.

DIE的音色变化不大 曾经用过他的拾音器TB-6 确实是高频失真的利器
KAORU从EMG变到SD 现在又变到EMG 我现在用的就是熏的VIPER 见签名最右边一把  很开心HOHO
TOSHIYA 是我见过的最独特的BASS音色使用者 有些时候华丽的超过了吉他
弹了这么久DIRU的觉得 他们的路线越来越朴素···舍弃不需要的 比如SOLO早就么有了 吉他的感觉就是 把编曲里可有可无的地方全都去掉 越来越简明 ···
喜欢KAORU 虽然他在台上不是最威风的 但创作 组织什么的 他一直做得很好 不张扬的老比样
