In addition to his self-taught musical education, Valeriani has studied bass with Marcelo Torres and Carlos Madariaga.
He began his professional career in 1989, with the Volpini Band in the Jazz Festival at Mar del Plata.
- BANDS - He has formed an active part in bands, the most important of which are: the Volpini Band, El Ghetto, Atendin Debauler and H.F.S. He has shared projects and recording sessions with Daniel Volpini, Víctor Skorupsky, Ricardo Jelicie, Victor Alonso, Luis Cardoso, Pablo Rodríguez, Guillermo Arrom, Luis Conte, Pollo Raffo, César Silva, "Zurdo" Alaguibe and "Indio Marquez," among others.
- SESSION PLAYER - As a session player, he accompanied: Manuel Wirtz (CD "Manuel Wirtz" and "Magia") 1992 to 1995. Vane Mihanovich 1997. Javier Calamaro (CD "Diez de Corazones" and "Quitapenas") 1998 to 2000. "Negro" Garcia López (Mexico) 2003. A variety of international artists in television shows as part of the Volpini Band: Ricardo Arjona, Eros Ramazzotti and Marta Sanchez, etc.
- ADVERTISING MUSIC - Valeriani has made advertising music since 1995, performing in bands and writing jingles for commercials for companies such as Fybertel (internet), Cablevisión (cable TV), ISUZU, Village Cinema, Citroen, Telefónica de Argentina and Cáritas, among others. In the year 2001, he moved to Mexico City, where he worked with a variety of post-production studios where he composed and performed advertising music. In the year 2004, he founded F.V. Music (Mexico) and worked for Clairol, Serfin, Mattel, TV Azteca, TNT and Coca Cola, among others.
- TEACHING EXPERIENCE - Private classes since 1992. Classes in the S.A.D.E.M. Music School from 1994 to 1996. Music clinics as a lecturer in AMPEG in 1996 and 1997.
PUBLICATIONS Artistically produced and recorded bass in the CD for the book "Funk Grooves - Workshop for Bass," edited by Avance Music in 1998. Columnist in the magazine "Music Expert," in 1999.
- RECORDING HISTORY - In 1997, he edited his first soloist record "Freddy Valeriani," where he combines a mixture of funk, jazz, and hip hop. It was distributed by Hotwire records in Europe and America. Valeriani participated in the 1999 edition of "Bass Talk VI," compiled by Hotwire Records Germany, with the song "What's the point." This is a collection of bass players from all around the world, of which the most important include Dough Wimbish (Living Colours), Bunny Brunel (Chick Corea), Michael Manring and Victor Wooten. In the year 2001 he made "Moovies," edited by Global Entertainment (Mexico).
Freddy Valeriani performed and programmed all the instruments, combining the sounds of jazz, funk, computerized music, samples and synthesizers.
This same year he participated in the CD compiled and edited by the FM radio station Horizonte (Mexico.) In the year 2002, he participated in compiling the 30th edition of the magazine Bassics (USA), together with artists such as John Paul Jones and Jimmy Haslip, among others.
- FILM - In 2003, Valeriani composed and performed the incidental music and the principal theme for the film "Fantasías" by the director Jorge Araujo (Mexico). The film was produced by Universal Pictures and opened in June 2004. |
