Spectorcelebrates the 30th anniversary of the renowned Spector NS style bass.The original contoured ergonomic bass was designed for Spector by awardwinning designer Ned Steinberger. The now historic NS bass was thefirst Steinberger musical instrument design and was produced by Spectorin the Brooklyn workshop starting in 1977.
Thisspecial very limited edition NS-230 anniversary bass features museumquality inlays on the neck of 5 different species of bass. The inlayswere designed and cut by Larry Robinson, author of "The Art of Inlay".Larry's credits include the number 1,000,000th C.F. Martin guitar.Stuart Spector says, "As my hobby is fly fishing I wanted to have thechance to feature on this special bass some of the fish that I have hadso much fun pursuing in my spare time."
Theseinstruments will only be built to order and orders will only beaccepted for one calendar year starting with its debut date of November24, 2007. Customers will be able to choose from the finest pieces ofSpector's stock of rare woods for building these instruments.
MSRP for the NS-230 bass is $15,000.
