这首歌，通常翻成〈浪荡子〉，是蓝调巨擘威利狄克森的作品，怎么，你不认识这位巨擘？他写过众多名曲，还出过一本自传，书名叫做「朕即蓝调I Am The Blues」。
〈浪荡子〉是一首很好玩的歌曲，，从一开始的描述中，我们知道曲中主人翁是个应天命而生的盖世猛男，还没出生，就有算命婆预言他会令世间美女「雀跃尖叫」，而且这位老兄还浑身法宝，什么黑猫骨、护符袋…不一而足，简单讲，他的威猛是不证自明，不容挑战的。
这首半世纪以前的歌曲，很有效地强化了昔日黑人男子的精神武装，社会上再怎么种族歧视，白人再怎么垄断政经资源，黑人兄弟们足以令美女「雀跃尖叫」的天赋异禀，却跟他们的蓝调一样，是谁也抢不走的。
