Dear Friends Bass Player,
Thanks for the warm welcome... I appreciate that...
First I apologize for those who cannot read english, but for the moment I have no translator available...
To reply to your questions:
- Sorry May, no we do not take order directly from players... We make and distribute but do not get involved in retail. But I can advise you where to find our gear!
- Guitars by Warwick: Yes, Warwick is producing guitars... The name is Framus. Framus was a company founded over 50 years ago in Germany by the father of our actual president, Fred Wilfer. He was famous for using precious wood and making pure artcraft insturments (not only guitars but violin, banjo, acoustic, classic guitars...). The company bankrupt in 1975 and one of his son (Hans Peter Wilfer) founded a new company named Warwick and made himself the well known bass. After a few years Hans Peter started again to make the guitars of his father... these guitars are made in Germany in the same factory, with the same great woods, and in the same tradition than the Warwick bass... Old Framus are collection vintage pieces. The one on the picture with me is a Akkerman 1974, made for Akkerman a famous holland player in the 70's. This guitar is a neck through hollobody guitar in Sycamore Flamed Maple. In China Guo Zhi Yong and Cui Jian are playing this guitar.
- Warnan: The blue cab:
Combo Amps Blue Cab 20The Blue Cab 20 is a big-sounding and flexible bass combo amp in a very small package. Perfect for the lesson room, backstage green room or bedroom, the Blue Cab 20 is very easy to use while still giving you professional-quality tone and performance. A super-efficient 10-inch speaker coupled with a ported cabinet and a tilt-back feature allows you to maximize the 20 watts of power and project the tone where you need it the most. Best of all, the Blue Cab offers you all of these great features at an incredibly affordable price.
20 watts of power
10-inch speaker
Controls for bass, middle, treble and volume

Blue Cab 30The Blue Cab 30 is an amazing bass combo with a bigger sound than its compact size would seem to indicate. This cool bass amp is small enough to easily move around, yet big enough to handle small acoustic gigs and rehearsals. An impressive 12-inch speaker, a ported cabinet and a unique tilt-back feature all work perfectly together to create a dynamic bass combo for the serious musician. There are stereo-to-mono auxiliary inputs on the front panel of the Blue Cab 30 which allow you to plug a CD player or any other similar sound source into your amp and jam along with your favorite tunes. Warwick even added an auxiliary volume control so you can match your levels.
30 watts of power
12-inch speaker

Inputs for active and passive basses
Headphone output
Serial effects loop
Auxiliary inputs with separate volume control
Collapsible tilt-back foot on rear of cabinet
W: 46 lbs. / 20.9 kg
D: 20.25 x 15.5 x 13 in.514 x 393 x 330 mm(HxWxD)
The Blue Cab is in 2 version, the 20W and 30 W but here please note this is real power output and no bullshitt like other manufacturer amps that tell you that they are 60 or 80W but in fact deliver no more than 20W!!!
Do not be scared about these numbers and try it out, you will see that the sound is big and fat like a typical Warwick amps... why that? Because inside is only the best stuffs... superior noiseless imput section, simple but effective controls and quality speaker... no cheap stuff inside.... it simply sound like a professional amps should sound and not like a cheap radio! The Blue Cab is available in SHanghai in PArson MUsic shop, Blue Hand and R&B Music Shop (and many other cities). A test review is available in Modern Player of January 2004.

- Everly BAss Strings: Well do not worry... Everly strings are very good quality strings... The Nickel Steel are Similar to our Yellow label, Nickel Steel... The B52 are superior alloy 52. It is a magnetic alloy that make your pickups more sensitive. The sound is more powerful, also the alloy material is more resistant to corrosion. We very like everly here, they are really good value for the money.
- The Sound of Wood?? Why??? Well because our instruments made their name from the way they sound... and because of what they are made: great woods...
The sound of a bass result of a complex combination or wood, pickups, strings and way they are made. But the wood of your instruments has a serious impact on the general tone of the bass/guitar... and at Warwick we only use the best wood available (Bubinga, Ovangkol, Swamp Ash, Flamed Maple, Ebony, Wenge, Azfelia) and "the state of the art" in wood treatment and drying (Our wood are dryed over 5 years in our factory and treated through a special process of drying). Of course the way they are made is also important... which is also another reason why our bass are great and sound great!
