False ! Gibson have 5 factories in China and they build 150,000 guitars a year in China (see China Blog). Be sure that Gibson don't want that his buyers know that because it's bad for business. Actually, only Gibson Custom series are made in USA that's all.

GIBSON在中国有5个厂.一年产15万把琴.为了好卖.他们不让消费者知道这事.现在只有CUSTOM是在美国造的.....

Since 2004 or 2006 (I don't remember exactly) even Les Paul Standard (those which are empty or hollow now) are made in China. I don't say China make bad guitars. I just say that Gibson doesn't inform consumers. And after all we don't know how these guitars will be in 20 or 50 years. Since I'm a young boy Gibson always meaning quality and durability. Guitars you will give to your child like a heritage.

his factory makes guitars for many of the famous brands. They have the rights to use similar body shapes, but slightly different from the original shapes. Did u know that most famous brands sub-contract factories in china to make guitars for them. China is the most capitalistic country in the world. With hundreds of guitar factories like this one.

I can't you're in thier and have locked the door. Apparently not only has China abandoned one of the premises of Capitalism is a free and democratic society but apparently also Mao's hope of communism. So the question needs to be asked, what exactly is the relationship between China's industry and China's goverment? Something like National Socialism?

As soon as you start buying something made in some other country, you're buying your way out of a job! Wen I was a kid, everything was made here, either in Canada, or the USA. Now, all of the factories and warehouses are closed. 

For the past 15 to 20 years, I have travelled across Canada and seen vacant factory buildings in every city and town. Some are "condo-lofts" now) And now the only jobs that are available in most smaller cities in Canada are Wal-Mart jobs and other useless servile jobs.

'm sure the guitars from this factory are of excellent quality. The thing is, you should always buy what is made in your own country first. I always try to buy something made in Canada, or the US, before I shop for something that is made elsewhere. Everyone should do the same! If you live in the US, buy American. If you live in the UK, buy something made in the UK. If you live in Russia, buy something made in Russia. If you live in China, buy something made in China.

我觉得不是没有这个可能,吉他又不是什麽高科技的东西,只要有设备就可以做,说不一定也象TOKAI一样做好了琴.拉回US打了标就说是美国产的.CUSTOM到有可能是美产的,量产的琴哪来那麽多的木头.在说了也有很多厂在做OEM ,可以在中国做好琴体,拉回美国去喷漆,做电路什麽的.卖出来不就成了美产的了吗?出口转内销早就在80.90年代就有一说法了.老美的忽悠厉害着了.能把苏联那麽大一个国家给忽悠散了.就连他们的阿波罗登月,连老美自己都怀疑给政府给忽悠了.还有啥不可能的

GC高人多的是如果GIBSON琴在国内生产的话早就有朋友发上图片了别听道听途说的不现实的东西大连只不过GIBSON收购的钢琴厂也准备生产吉他但不是生产什么GIBSON 而是生产EPIPHONE的低端产品

youtube速度慢不是人家网站的问题，这个应该问中国电信。。。企业是以盈利为主要目的的，这边人工成本这么低，苹果电脑都中国产了，偶就不信Gibson没有本土制，人家把琴做好再拿到USA去包装一下再倒回来也不是没有可能，一样可以说是美产。瞧老美的经济泡沫都吹破了，何况一品牌琴。。。

恩，是的不要把ＧＩＢＳＯＮ说得那样神，好象出了美国能做，中国，日本以及其他国家的就没有生产的可能，＂ＧＩＢＯＳＮ＂现在已经脱离的吉他这个概念了，在玩音乐的人的心理已经成了一个神器，人们都以拥有一把或好几把ＧＩＢＳＯＮ来作为炫耀的资本．j就好象汽车界里的宝马，奔驰一样．ＧＩＢＳＯＮ至于有没有国产或在其他地方产，现在还说不清楚，因为这是人家公司的商业秘密，也不会让一般人知道，（估计只有董事会的人知道，呵呵），我猜想：如果让人们知道了ＧＩＢＳＯＮ在国外有加工或生产，势必会影响这品牌．厉害的甚至影响他的股票．但我还是相信很多是事没什麽不可能
