I bought a Gibson LPJ 2014 e.guitar from a local authorized Gibson dealer in Shanghai China. They gave me a brandnew piece from a sealed official package box,but i found that the guitar looked like having been used，the painting of it was not uniform specilly at the body edge and head edge,felt like badly refreshed. It's really rough so that i asked for another one,they shew me three pieces that day,more or less i could see the same problems on each. I contected Gibson China,and they proved those are real Gibson products.Finally i picked up the best one of those three,because i trust in Gibson name,i really don't want other brand. But one thing i'm wondering is:Why an so expensive Gibson guitar can be built so roughly,or it's just a new idea new design for 2014?

The 2014 LPJ is using satin finish, not gloss finish as other high-end Gibson guitars, so it just satin finish covered on the wood, maybe it looks like a little bit rough on the finish, but it also can give the guitar real sound of the wood.
